You would never have thought, in your wildest dreams, that being attacked by pirates was something you would be deliriously happy about. Of course, you never would have expected to end up in the hold of a slaver's galley, after a long chain of events you still can't quite wrap your mind around. You hadn't thought your luck could be so bad.
Of course...maybe it wasn't. For the Pirates of Haven's Port have come to your rescue. Which, would be an absurd statement if it was any other group of pirates involved. But the Pirates of Haven's Port are closer to exiles than they are actual pirates, driven from the Empire Decades ago for their dedication to a Patron Spirit of Love, Lust, and Freedom, The Order of the Wild Rose was once among the most populous and popular groups in the World, beloved for being healers and blessers of harvests. But that was before the war with the Outsiders brought more lawful spirits to prominence in the Empire.
After nearly two centuries of decline, The Order of the Wild Rose was driven into exile, the adventurers who had been it's most common followers creating the Freeport of Haven...and founding the Pirates of Haven's Port, who've raided Imperial shipping regularly since their founding. They particularly target Slave Galleys, which support an institution that their Patron Spirit loathes.
Recused by this unlikely band of spiritual brothers and exiled misfits...how will you adapt to the wild, half-lawless and wholly licentious habits of the islands under their domain? Will you embrace their ways or remain above it all? Will you seek to become a Pirate? An Arena Champion? A Brothel Owner? Or even a simply Merchant Power. The choice is yours...
Build 3 Release Notes
This build focuses on the Reputation Tiering up process, with a side helping of Job Content (per Patron Voting last month), once you get past the Reputation Tier Up. In total there are 10 completely new scenes, plus 3 new variants on old scenes.
New Reputation Tier!
If you reach 50 fame, you can now tier up from an Unknown to a Resident. But you'll have to find a sponsor first! Don't worry, there's a short tutorial for the details in-game (though it's possible to miss it, as I didn't want to harass people with it. When you first pass 50 fame, PAY ATTENTION the first time you go back to your room. The tutorial will be offered then). Becoming a Resident unlocks...
New Clothes!
When you become a Resident, three new clothing items will appear in the Clothes Shop!
New Job Options!
When you become a Resident, you can finally finish the Rosegirl Training, opening up a new job (as well as variants to old ones). There's will also be a New Transformation Option for the Magic Shop Job.
New Title!
Since you can finish the Rosegirl Training...
A New Player Home!
As a Resident, you'll be able to rent a small cottage in town. But beware! If you don't pay your rent...there will be consequences!
A New Major Character!
She doesn't have much content yet, but Captain Alyin Temlin is part of the Reputation Tier Up event! And you can visit her to repeat her minimal current content afterward...she'll have more content going forward, of course!
Other Stuff:
- While related, somewhat, to the Reputation Tier Up, Lyana the Bartender now has a couple of sex scenes...
- Additions to the character menu: Relationship Scores for Lyana and Jazerhra and a Rent Countdown Timer if you're renting the cottage, so you'll know when the next payment is due.
- You can not donate money to charity at the Rose Haven. While this will let you raise fame...it's mostly just a fix for the fact that there aren't that many ways to spend money yet. Eventually there will be, but for now there are far more ways to earn it than spend it.
- A few bug fixes
- Credits have been updated to reflect new $10 patrons. Thanks guys!
